Colt Moedl

As Chief Executive Officer of United Utility Services, Colt Moedl leads the company’s operations and strategic direction, with a focus on achieving excellence in safety, operational performance, and long-term growth. With more than 20 years of experience in the utility industry, he brings extensive expertise in engineering, operations, and executive leadership.

Colt began his career as a Transmission Line Engineer, building a strong technical foundation in utility infrastructure. Throughout his career, he has held progressive leadership roles that have strengthened his expertise in managing complex projects, navigating evolving market conditions, and developing lasting relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. His experience with Quanta Services and HDR further enhanced his capabilities in operational excellence, strategic growth, and client engagement.

Before joining United Utility Services, Colt served as President of Utilities at Primoris Services Corporation, where he led diverse utility operations and successfully guided the organization through changing market conditions while driving operational performance and profitability.

As CEO, Colt is committed to advancing United Utility Services’ vision by fostering a culture centered on safety, collaboration, innovation, and client partnership. He works closely with the executive team and operational leaders to empower the company’s engineering and craft professionals, strengthen client relationships, and deliver sustainable, long-term value.

Colt earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Montana State University and an MBA in Project Management from the New York Institute of Technology.
