Ty Carmeans

As Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for United Utility Services, Ty drives operational performance, client relationships, and strategic growth. With a background spanning utility engineering, construction, and executive leadership, he brings extensive experience in delivering safe, high-quality utility infrastructure solutions.

In his prior role at United Utility Services, Ty served as President of B&B Electrical & Utility Contractors, where he advanced through a series of leadership roles after joining the company in 2018. Appointed President in 2023, he played a key role in strengthening the organization’s operational performance, safety culture, and leadership development initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Ty spent a decade with an investor-owned utility, serving in progressively responsible roles as an Electrical Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, Construction Manager, and Safety and Training Manager. These experiences provided a strong technical and operational foundation that continues to guide his leadership approach.

As Senior Vice President, Ty is committed to fostering a culture of safety, operational excellence, and collaboration while supporting United Utility Services’ continued growth and delivering exceptional value to clients across the United States.

Ty earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Alabama.
