About Us
W.A. Chester provides industry-leading, specialized services for underground transmission and distribution cable systems, overhead distribution, substations, and communications. Our team offers turnkey services that include engineering, construction, procurement, maintenance, installation, and emergency restoration.
Our clients are electric utility companies and independent power producers throughout the U.S. and Canada, and we are one of three specialty contractors performing this type of work on a national basis. In addition to underground systems, our services also include installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead electric distribution cable systems.

Workforce Experience & Commitment
Our management personnel possess, on average, over 30 years of valuable project and construction experience in the power sector and are members of the IEEE and ICC. Our team has the proven expertise to manage and execute projects from the conceptual phase through design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
