Fort Belvoir, Virginia, December 7th, 2018 – W.A.Chester, a United Utility Company, helped make spirits bright at Fort Belvoir’s annual tree lighting ceremony by decorating and lighting the magnificent tree at the army base.  WAC’s Street Light and Low-Volt division, have been lighting the tree for the past 14 years.  Over 800 people gathered around the tree at this year’s event and Santa Claus himself made a special appearance.

WAC’s Street Light division will be maintaining the tree lights through the New Year.  They will also be responsible for the street light installation and street light maintenance in the town.  They are converting the obsolete street lights to new LED fixtures.
